We are attaching our current building and product specifications that you may wish to print out and use as a guide for selling our high quality homes. Needless to say, it is very important to quickly distinguish our customization, high quality building and name brand product specifications when selling our homes. Certain FHT sales, marketing and construction tidbits for your review:
Merillat cabinetry: It is a brand name that is well recognized and they offer many different types of options and it is also a green product. Our competitors may offer Aristocraft or Kitchen Kompact that are not in the same league as Merillat or some manufacturers believe their in-house cabinet organization is a product that homeowners desire?
American Standard: high quality, brand name toilets that will last a long time; compared to less expensive toilets offered by many of our competitors.
Andersen windows; high quality, brand name with substantial options and it is a green product; or Ply-gem windows where certain upgrades such as their aluminum clad window with many different colors (red, green; etc) provides extraordinary value and very nice custom home appeal.
Owens Corning 30 year architectural shingles (name product) and FHT always uses their high end roof caps compared to 3 tab shingles that must be cut.
Energy compliant homes - New home owners should be able to reduce their future air and heating bills almost in half compared to lower energy standards offered by our competitors; or a potential home owner purchasing an older home where energy bills will be much higher. Our energy compliant home information is as follows: R38 in roof (higher R values with electric heat or upstate codes) and R21 in our walls, caulking at our receptacles or air penetration, energy star fan, and upgraded lighting fixtures that meet energy star requirements.
Building green: Merillat, Andersen, formaldehyde free insulation, Shaw carpeting; all green products.
FHT construction using only 16” O.C. in floors, outside walls, and roofs and 5/8” CDX plywood sheathing on roofs; also ice and water shield. We do not build 24” O.C. and cheapen up our high quality building specifications compared to many of our competitors.
FHT unique construction technique of using sheetrock backing behind the walls and foam seal along the wall studs for additional support and major reduction of stress cracks. This is not done by our competitors.
Sheetrock, taping and painting that is exceptional; also our high quality finish work and FHT uses trim packages that are solid wood; many of our competitors use a lower grade trim package.
Technical building skills that create an FHT superior customized home from our salesmen, engineering, and craftsmen where their employment tenure with us averages over 15 years.
When you buy an FHT custom modular home, you are purchasing high quality and the home owner is living in their dream home! Needless to say, when someone is buying a lower quality home, they most likely are purchasing a problem that can become extremely difficult and costly for them to own in future years.
